Adv. Michael Pappe
Advocate and Notary Michael Pappe studied law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and was admitted to the Israeli bar in 1980.
In addition, he studied Economics and International Relations at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
He was admitted as an Israeli Notary public in 1997. He is head of the Pappe Law firm since 1984.
In 1989, the Federal Republic of Germany appointed Mr. Pappe Honorary Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Since 12/2020, this duty has been transferred to Adv. Rotem Pappe, a partner in the Michael Pappe Law Firm.
Michael Pappe was Honorary Consul of Switzerland in Haifa from 2013 to 03/2023.
In addition, Pappe Law Firm is a Member of the League of International Lawyers Cicero and a Member of "AICC" (Austrian Israeli Chamber of Commerce).
Our office specializes in International Private Law and Commercial Law. Among other things, our office prepares legal opinions on German, Austrian and Swiss laws for Israeli courts.
Our firm has a close network of Israeli and European diplomats, lawyers and companies. As a member of Cicero, our office is in very close contact with lawyers from all over the world.
Mr. Pappe is fluent in Hebrew, German and English.

Austrian Citizenship
Our firm has been accompanying its clients for many years throughout the process of issuing Austrian citizenship to descendants of Austrian Jews, from submitting the applications and translating the necessary documents all the way to their approval.
